Carphone Warehouse leaks Pixel 6 and 6 Pro in full detail

We can’t say we’re surprised that the Pixel 6 pair has been leaked yet again. Carphone Warehouse jumped the gun this time, publishing pages for both models before anyone else. They’ve now been removed, but not before Evan Blass noticed them. Before the October 19 event, here’s everything you need to know about the new Google phones.

Let’s take a look at the Pixel 6 Pro first. Google’s first custom-built processor powers it. The business has previously created an image processing chip, but it wasn’t an integrated design.

On-device AI hardware called the Google Tensor chipset speeds up features like Night Sight, Portrait Mode, and the new Magic Eraser (more on that in a bit). Despite being intended for power saving, it is 80 percent quicker than the Snapdragon 765G in the Pixel 5.

The Pro model has the most advanced camera that has ever been found on a Google phone. It starts with the main module, which has a 50 MP sensor that is substantially larger than the Pixel 5’s tiny 1/2.55″ sensor. It collects 150 percent more light, making it ideal for night photography. In addition, the telephoto lens has returned. This one has a 4x optical magnification that can be increased to 20x with the help of Super Res Zoom. Apart from the fact that it would have a 12 MP sensor, not much is known about the super-wide camera. With a 94o field of view, the selfie camera will be quite wide (in RAW mode, presumably before lens correction).
