The Infinix Hot 11 family, which was recently launched, is expanding. The Hot 11, 11S and Hot 11 Play have already arrived in Pakistan, and the Hot 11 Play, the newest addition to this budget lineup, made its debut in Africa over the weekend. It’s the cheapest of the three Hot 11 models, with only the most basic specifications.

To begin, the design is a step up from the Hot 10 Play, which was released earlier this year. If it weren’t for the new paint jobs, it would be difficult to tell the two phones apart. The Infinix Hot 11 Play has flashy, textured finishes in mint, graphite, gold, and blue. In addition to the rear camera rectangle, Infinix has included a capacitive fingerprint scanner.
Turn the phone over to reveal the 6.82″ screen. A notched IPS LCD fills a tall 20.5:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.6 percent. The Hot 11 Play’s maximum resolution is an unremarkable 720P.

Large displays and batteries are hallmarks of an Infinix entry-level phone. And the Hot 11 Play excels in both areas. The phone’s 6000 mAh battery (when combined with the low-powered display and chip) promises 75 days on standby and 16 hours of continuous gaming on a single charge. There is no support for fast charging here, and the USB interface is the obsolete micro-USB type.
The MediaTek Helio G35 processor powers the Infinix Hot 11 Play. It’s a low-end 4G chip that’s only fast enough for light gaming.
The phone is powered by the XOS UI and Android 11. A potent combination of 4GB of memory and 128GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 512GB, is provided. The cost has yet to be determined.
