Infinix Note 11 Pro in for review

The Infinix Note 11 Pro was revealed earlier today, and now it’s arrived at HQ and is ready to be tested.

It comes with a 33W charger, a cable, a case, a glass screen protector (unapplied), and some pamphlets in a retail box. However, the previous model had earbuds, whereas this one does not.

The Note 11 Pro follows the Note 10 Pro by only five months, and it isn’t a comprehensive makeover or even a plain step up. Sure, its 6.95-inch IPS LCD now refreshes at a faster 120Hz, and it’s only available in an 8/128GB form; there’s no 6/64GB model.

The Infinix Note 11 Pro also features a 2x telephoto camera, but it does away with the Note 10 Pro’s 8MP ultrawide camera, which may not be to everyone’s liking.

The chipset is also different: a 12nm Helio G96 replaces a 12nm Helio G95. In this example, 96 over 95 sounds better than it is – processing is faster, but graphics are technically poorer – more on that in a later, more extensive article. Then there’s the question of pricing and availability – no news yet, but expect it shortly. As a result, some enthusiastic purchasers may opt for the older model.
