The Google Pixel 6 phones will be released on Tuesday, and both the vanilla and Pro models have already been leaked. The most recent round of pre-announcement images comes from @evleaks, who revealed a slew of official Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro shots.
The photos don’t reveal much news, but they do confirm that the new camera bump will be thick and run the length of the phone.
The camera’s design is clearly unique, and the thickness is to be expected given the strong hardware inside. The three cameras on the Pixel 6 Pro are plainly visible, one of which is a periscope lens, but the ordinary Pixel 6 will just have conventional and ultrawide cameras.
The main 50MP camera will be on the left, followed by a 12MP ultrawide-angle camera and a telephoto device with a 48MP sensor. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will both come with Android 12 out of the box, and the Pro will support 33W charging.
The official launch date is October 19, at which time availability will be announced.
