Motorola debuted the Moto E40 last week without providing any details about its availability, but the company’s India unit has now officially confirmed the handset for the Indian market. Flipkart will begin selling the phone on October 17 at 12 a.m. for INR9,499 ($125).
The Moto E40 features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the phone’s 8-megapixel selfie camera. It has a Unisoc T700 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage that can be expanded by a microSD card. A 48MP primary camera is housed on the rear, paired with two 2MP modules for macro pictures and depth data. In the moto logo, there’s also a fingerprint scanner.
The phone also features a 5,000mAh battery, USB-C 10W charging, a headphone port, and Android 11 with Moto’s My UX UI on top. Pink Clay and Carbon Gray are two hues available for the E40.
