New Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Product Renders Showcase a Clean, Minimalist Redesign

The latest mockups in the series of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra concepts show yet another redesigned camera plate. Instead of the P-shaped housing, the new S22 Ultra images feature a lightweight, extremely minimalist design. The product renders have been validated by multiple industry sources.

LetsGoDigital, a European publication, collaborated with concept artist Tecnizo Concept to publish the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra renders. This source has a long track record of reliable Samsung leaks. Their S22 Ultra has five cameras protruding from the shell. Consider the Galaxy A32 (or the LG Velvet) with additional lenses.

It’s too soon to predict the phone’s color options. However, in addition to the standard black and white colors, the S22 Ultra could be available in burgundy red.

Ice Universe, a phone leaker, not only supports these theories but also speculates on Samsung’s design choices. The new camera layout is lighter in weight than the S21 Ultra’s heavy camera plate that melts into the frame. It allows the S22 Ultra to incorporate the S Pen without adding weight.

The manufacturer isn’t just introducing the Galaxy Note stylus. The S22 Ultra also has a cylindrical shell that is characteristic of a Note.

The quad-camera system is carried over from the previous-generation S21 Ultra. We’re looking at a 108MP wide lens cluster and three 12MP lenses (ultra-wide, telephoto, and periscope telephoto.) Each camera has optical image stabilization (OIS).
Because it will not be available until next year, the S22 Ultra will be powered by unannounced chipsets — either the Exynos 2200 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 895. Samsung is also increasing the support for fast charging to 45W. However, the battery capacity remains at 5000 mAh.
The screen curves along the edges in the same way that most of the flagships on the Samsung phones price list do.
