Oppo’s A16 series already has two slightly different editions — the Oppo A16 and A16s. And it was recently expanded with the Oppo A16K, a refreshed A16. The phone has arrived in the Philippines and is expected to make its way to other Asian markets in the near future.
The Oppo A16K is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35, the same chip found in the original Oppo A16. The A16K, on the other hand, cuts a few corners here and there, making it a downgrade.
The casing is curved around the edges, the display has a V notch that extends into it, and the screen is flanked by a weighty chin. You can choose between graphite, silver, and gleaming blue finishes.
The display is a 6.52″ IPS LCD with a 720P resolution, a mediocre pixel density, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. You get 3GB of memory and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 256GB. ColorOS 11.1 is pre-installed on the Oppo A16k. It is priced at PHP 6,999 (Rs. 23,800).
