Oppo’s A54 was released in March, and now it appears that the company is planning to release an S-version called the A54s. GizPie obtained renders and crucial specs that detail the Oppo A54s design, major characteristics, and European pricing.
The A54s has a 6.52-inch IPS LCD with HD+ quality and a waterdrop notch for the 8MP front camera, similar to Oppo’s A16. The Helio G35 chipset from MediaTek is rumored to be the preferred SoC, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The primary difference appears to be in the back, where the A54s is claimed to have a 50MP main camera instead of the 13MP main camera seen on the A54 and A16. The two secondary sensors for macro pictures and depth data will most likely stay at 2MP.
The A54s will be available in Pearl Blue and Crystal Black and will run Android 11 with ColorOS 11 on top. The 4/128GB trim is expected to start at €219 in Europe. The phone’s release date has yet to be determined.
