OPPO A78 5G Appears on IMEI, Bluetooth SIG, FCC, and IMDA Databases; Launch Imminent

The OPPO A77 5G, which was unveiled in June, is one of many low-cost competitors the company releases each year that are only available in the Chinese market. The maker does, however, intend to adjust the tempo this time. Users can anticipate the OPPO A78 5G, the successor to the A77 5G, to arrive in numerous Asian locations based on recent breaks.

The model number CPH2483 of an OPPO phone is currently trending online. Recent appearances on the IMEI and Bluetooth SIG certifications, followed shortly by the FCC database appearance, show that a launch is rapidly approaching. The most recent development was the discovery of the model CPH2483 on IMDA, which revealed the marketing name “A78 5G.”

Apart from connectivity options like 5G, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS, Singapore’s IMDA link doesn’t reveal anything noteworthy. Another certification, Bluetooth SIG, confirmed that the brand-new OPPO model, the A78 5G, uses the BT 5.3 standard for wireless connectivity. The OPPO A78 5G will run ColorOS 13 and support dual-band (2.4GHz – 5GHz) Wi-Fi and 5G bands N5/N7/N38/N44/N66. It will sport a 5,000mAh juicer with OPPO’s 33W rapid charging capability under the hood.

Certifications have made minuscule aspects of the phone known. The A78 5G’s remaining specifications, including those for the camera, CPU, design renderings, storage setups, refresh rate, etc., are still a secret. Given that the newcomer is listed on several certification platforms, unlike its father, it is safe to believe that it will not be restricted to China. The OPPO A76 4G, which it is based on, costs Rs. 47,999 in Pakistan.
