Realme 9i New Image Leak Uncovers more Detail; Triple Rear Camera & Side-placed Fingerprint Sensor

The Realme 9i was recently leaked in press photographs that showed it from various angles. The Realme 9 lineup’s formal launch is still about a month away, which means there will be more leaks. The most recent in this series is a new set of 9i product mockups, which back up the prior report.

The new Realme 9i was released by Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as @Onleaks. The new mockups are similar to the previously leaked product renders. We’re looking at a design that’s similar to the Realme GT series.

The casing is clean and textured, with the exception of the camera rectangle and the’realme’ branding. The frame has a groove etched into it and is chamfered. The power button on the side of the device also serves as a fingerprint scanner. At least one graphite color is available on the Realme 9i.

To see the phone’s display, turn it over. The bezels have been reduced even more by Realme, however, the O-hole cutout remains off-center. It’s said to be a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a 1080P resolution and a speedy 90Hz refresh rate, all at a low Realme mobile price. The triple-camera array on the back is led by a 50MP sensor.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, a new affordable 4G CPU manufactured on a 6nm node, is at the heart of the Realme 9i. The hardware is powered by an Android-11-based Realme UI and a 5000 mAh battery. Although the charging support is unknown, it does employ a contemporary USB-C interface. A 3.5mm audio jack can also be seen on the phone’s bottom.

The Realme 9i is a member of the Realme 9 series, which also includes the Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro+. The Pro models are said to feature a high-performance Snapdragon 870 processor and a 120Hz display, which would be a significant upgrade above the previous-generation Realme 8 phones.
