The company is working on a flagship-defeating device called the “Realme GT Neo 5.” The phone features two variations with the codes “RMX3706” and “RMX708,” which are apparently intended for release in other countries. The couple first appeared on the TENAA listing before making a Chinese Unveil hint. The latter is now listed elsewhere. Look at that.

The Realme RMX706 has surfaced on Geekbench’s leaderboard. We learned from TENAA that the number corresponds to the GT Neo 5’s entry-level model. For those who don’t know, the GT Neo 5 (RMX708) is a purported world-first smartphone with a 240W fast charging kit that was discovered earlier this month on Geekbench. An alternative model of the phone, known as the RMX706, supports 150W recharge.
The RMX706 achieved 1277 performance points in a single core on the test benchmark. With the help of its Qualcomm-powered Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, it scored over 3917 points in the multi-core test. It offers the greatest clock speed at 3.0GHz and a base frequency of 1.8GHz.
Notably, the GT Neo 5’s chipset is underclocked. It has a 3.0GHz alpha core, as opposed to the common 3.1GHz version of the SoC. The soon-to-be Realme rate list participant still achieves a very high rating on Geekbench. The variant under test here has 16GB of internal RAM; other variants’ scores may differ. Prior to now, TENAA revealed its key characteristics. With a rapid 144GHz refresh rate, 1.5K-2772 x 1240p resolution, under-display Fingerprint ID, and a 6.74-inch OLED panel, the GT Neo 5 combines these features.
