It’s been about a year since the Samsung Galaxy A03s was released in August 2021. The debut of its replacement, the Galaxy A04s, appears to be on the horizon, as the smartphone’s model number, SM-A045F/DS, has surfaced on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification site. The DS here indicates that the handset can take two SIM cards.

This future entry-level Galaxy version will run Android 12 out of the box, according to the listing. Dual-band WiFi will be available in the Samsung Galaxy A04s, with 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands. Furthermore, the listing reveals that the upcoming handset will support WiFi ac/n/a/b/g connectivity.
The handset had already been seen on the Geekbench website, confirming Samsung’s own Exynos 850 SoC and Mali-G52 MP1 GPU. This chipset combo was also used by Samsung in the Galaxy A13. This is unexpected, given the Galaxy A03s were expected to have the same Helio P35 chipset.
An earlier leak also revealed a new Samsung model’s rear design, which featured protruding camera lenses and no camera bump. However, no information about the camera has been confirmed as of yet.

The Galaxy A04s is said to include the same 3GB RAM as its predecessor, as well as a 6.5″ HD+ TFT panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. Samsung refers it the Infinity-V display as having a V-shaped notch. According to rumors, the lights will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 10W standard charging.
The measurements are 146.2 mm x 70.9 mm x 8.3 mm, and it weighs only 149g. MicroSD expansion will be available on the Galaxy A03. Samsung has yet to confirm the Galaxy A04s’ precise debut date, although certifications indicate that it will be released soon.
