Samsung has just released the Galaxy M52 5G in Europe and Asia. The Galaxy A52 cousin, which features Qualcomm silicon, a stunning display, and an ultra-slim design, is now available in more markets. The phone’s product page has just gone live on Samsung Brazil’s website.
The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is listed on the Samsung Brazil portal as “SM-M526BZKJYO” — the same model as other Galaxy M52 phones around the world. Here’s a quick rundown.
The Galaxy M52 is the slimmest and lightest Samsung phone in recent memory, measuring 7.4mm in depth and weighing 173g. It has perfectly rounded edges and a lined texture available in Blazing Black and Icy Blue. Chrome accents the camera island and lenses.
There are 64MP wide, 12MP 123° ultra-wide, and 5MP macro lenses in the mix. The front camera on Samsung’s new phone model is powered by a 32MP sensor. The M52 5G can shoot in both single-shot and portrait modes.
When you flip the Galaxy M52 over, you’ll notice a 6.7″ super AMOLED screen with a hole punched through it. It has a maximum resolution of 1080P and a refresh rate of 120Hz (which is twice the industry standard). The bezel that surrounds the panel is thin and even. Everything is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. The platform is built on a 6nm process and supports memory capacities of 6GB/8GB. The chip also makes the Galaxy M52 future-proof, as it supports up to 11 bands for 5G connectivity. In addition, you get 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to a terabyte.
To keep the Galaxy M52 5G’s dimensions as small as possible, Samsung reduced the battery capacity from 7000 mAh to 5000 mAh.
