Tecno’s new product announcements have slowed in recent years, with the Tecno Spark 8C being the most current to arrive in Pakistan. But the brand is anticipated to pick the pace up soon. The Transsion-owned phone company just introduced a follow-up to its ultra-low-cost Pop 5 Series. The new Tecno Pop 6 made its debut in Nigeria, and it is expected to be released in other regions soon.

Tecno’s Pop phone series includes one of the brand’s most affordable models. The new Tecno Pop 6 is also as basic as they come. First, there’s the Front Screen, which is a 6.1″ IPS LCD with 720P resolution. It has a drop notch and is surrounded by lush bezels. A 5MP front shooter and a flash are housed in the notch.
On the back of the Pop 6, you’ll find a dual-camera setup with two 5MP lenses. A fingerprint sensor is also included on the rear, in addition to the optics. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and is charged via an out-of-date micro-USB port.
The Tecno new POP model is powered by an unknown processor. It’s most likely an older quad-core CPU with a modest 1.3GHz clock speed. The RAM is limited to 3GB, and the 32GB storage feels out of date in 2022. However, the memory may be expanded via a microSD card slot. It’s a big dual-SIM smartphone, with a casing that’s 9.7 mm thick.

Face ID, a 3.5mm audio connector, GPS, 4G support, and a Bluetooth 4.2 module are among the other features. You can choose from Lime Green, Sky Blue, or Sea Blue for the Android 11 Go edition out of the box. The POP 6 is, of course, made of plastic and costs around USD 130 (around 25,700 PKR).
