The Vivo X70 Pro is one of Vivo’s most recent flagship phones. A professional photography experience is promised by Vivo. DxoMark has benchmarked the X70 Pro camera, putting that claim to the test. It surpassed the iPhone 13 to take first place in DxOMark’s premium smartphone rankings.

Before we get into the details of the evaluation, it’s worth noting that DxOMark divides its smartphone camera rankings into two categories: global and premium. It’s unclear why this is happening or what the goal is. However, the Vivo X70 Pro tops the premium list rather than the worldwide rankings (where it is ranked 12th). DxOMark, on the other hand, still ranks the Huawei P50 Pro as the best camera.
In terms of overall performance, the Vivo X70 Pro scored 131 points on the benchmark. It earns 139 points in photography, 77 points in the zoom, and 111 points in videography. DxOMark claims that the camera has a wide dynamic range and captures accurate exposures. In low-light images, the phone also recovers detail.
The small depth of field is extremely accurate. Video stabilization is also effective, thanks to Vivo’s micro-gimbal technology. The autofocus technology, in particular, was lauded by the testers for performing as expected in all settings.
The ultra-wide camera on Vivo’s latest flagship smartphone doesn’t offer the widest field of view, but it does deliver a wide dynamic range that preserves details in both light and shade. Wide-angle photographs in auto mode, on the other hand, can have noise and color fringing. When zoomed in all the way, the twin telephoto system gives fantastic photos at long range, but there is a perceptible reduction in clarity when zoomed in all the way.

Except for the occasional color cast and focusing hitches in low light, there aren’t many areas in photography where you can improve. Videos are often natural-looking, have decent exposure, and are well-stabilized.
