The successor to the Vivo Y01’s official renderings and internals have leaked, bringing the Y02s one step closer to release. The device has been added to the databases of the FCC and Geekbench websites. The smartphone’s moniker Vivo Y02s, which was mentioned alongside the model code V2203, has been validated by today’s FCC listing. The Y02s will feature 4G VoLTE, LTE, WCDMA, GPRS, EGPRS, and Dual-Band WiFi, according to the FCC certification. Additionally, the phone supports two SIM cards and Bluetooth 5.0 for file transfers.
According to past rumors, the octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC will power the Y02s, according to the Geekbench listing. It has four 1.8GHz cores that run at a slower speed and four 2.3GHz cores. In Geekbench 5 testing, the chipset generated 166 single-core scores and a multi-core score of 905 points.
Previous speculations claim the forthcoming Vivo rate list entry may come with a 3GB/32GB storage option running FunTouch OS 12 on Android 12. A 6.51″ 60Hz HD+ IPS LCD with a dewdrop notch housing the 5MP selfie camera would adorn the front.

The Vivo Y02s’ back optics would have an 8MP primary lens and LED flash. There would also be photography tools like AI beautifying and time-lapse. The battery might be able to power the Y02s at 10 Watts with a 5,000 mAh capacity. The hardware is completed by a Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack at the base.
The Vivo Y02s will be available in Flourite Black and Vibrant Blue finishes for $113 or PKR 26,000, respectively.
