Vivo has secretly unveiled the Y72t in its native market, following the launching of the Vivo X80 5G in Pakistan. The 5G-ready mid-ranger comes with a 50MP camera, FHD+ resolution, and a large battery. Everything you need to know about the Y72t is right here.

The Vivo Y72t has a 6.58-inch LCD display with a resolution of FHD+ and a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch. The phone has a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio and only supports a 60Hz refresh rate. The large battery results in a thick 9.17mm frame, and the phone itself weighs 200g.
The notch on the Y72t smartphone holds an 8MP front camera. It has a 50-megapixel primary lens, as well as a 2-megapixel macro sensor on the back. All of these cameras have Full HD video recording capabilities. The phone runs Android 11 with the OriginOS 1.0 skin on top. For enhanced protection, Vivo’s new 5G variant includes a fingerprint sensor on the side.
The Y72t is powered by the Density 700 chipset, which is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x memory and 128 GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1). The Y72t is powered by a massive 6000 mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging. Additional features include a dual SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB C port, and a 3.5mm audio input. The Y72t is a rebadged version of Vivo’s Y55s 5G, which was released last December.

The Vivo Y72t comes in two versions: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Accordingly, they cost 1,400 Yuan (Rs. 42,000) and 1,600 Yuan (Rs. 48,000). Color combinations such as Interstellar Powder, Deep Sea Black, and Blue Sea are available.
