The OPPO Reno 7 series made new headlines yesterday when an industry source leaker published the Reno 7 model specification sheets. The post has since been removed, but it contradicts previous leaks, further muddying the waters. As a result, the upcoming launch event may include a few surprises.
There are four models in the lineup: the OPPO Reno 7 SE, Reno7 Pro, Reno7 Pro+, and the standard Reno 7. Oppo collaborated with MediaTek to tailor the Density 1200 chip found inside the Reno 7 Pro+. However, the original leak mentioned the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. It’s also possible that the chips in the domestic and international editions are different.
Reno 7 Pro+ has a 4500 mAh battery and 65W SuperVOOC charging. The body weighs 180g and has a thickness of 7.45mm. A 50MP wide camera and dual stereo speakers are also included in the build. The cameras, however, do not have optical image stabilization. The Oppo Reno 7 Pro+ is priced at CNY 3,000 (Rs. 80,200).
The Oppo Reno Pro’s Pro variant is powered by Qualcomm silicon, specifically the Snapdragon 778G. The Reno7 Pro Plus also has a 4500 mAh battery, but it charges at 60W. The sensor in this wide-angle camera is 64MP. It has a thickness of 7.6mm and a weight of 185g.
Oppo Reno 7 uses the Density 900 chip but has the same 4500 mAh battery and 64MP wide camera as the Oppo Reno 6. The charging power has also been reduced to 33W. The basic model weighs 171g and has a depth of 7.45mm. We find 90Hz displays all over the place.
