Pixel 6 availability check: vanilla phone available almost everywhere, Pro is hard to find

Because the Pixel 6 series is only officially available in nine countries, we looked into how their local online stores are doing. To summarise, the Pixel 6 is pretty easy to find everywhere, though the 256 GB option was missing in some places, either completely or for some color options.

The Pixel 6 Pro’s situation is even worse. Some countries have already run out of stock, while others can only get the 128GB model, and some colorways have sold out. Again, not every color/storage combination was available, so if you want to order now, you may have to make some difficult decisions. By the way, we couldn’t find the 512 GB option anywhere.

The United Kingdom receives one of the better deals, a free pair of Bose 700 wireless headphones worth £350. The same is true for Ireland, Germany, and France. The deal in Australia is straightforward: AUD 100 in-store credit for the Pixel 6, and AUD 150 for the Pixel 6 Pro. Both earn you JPY 11,000 in-store credit in Japan. Taiwan, however, receives nothing.

Remember that the availability status will change over the next few hours and days, and it will most likely get worse before it gets better. Also, keep in mind that some Pixel 6 models include mmWave 5G and are therefore more expensive.

It’s unclear what’s causing the Pro model’s scarcity – lower production numbers or higher demand? With its LTPO display and 4x periscope lens, it is undoubtedly the more advanced phone of the two, but it also costs $300 more, a significant increase over the vanilla model.
