Realme 9 Pro+ Featured on an IMEI Database; Launches Next Year with Flagship-killer Specs

The Realme 8 series, which debuted this spring, was set to receive a sequel this fall. Realme, like many other Chinese phone manufacturers, follows a bi-annual release schedule for the majority of its smartphones. However, the Realme 9 series’ release date has reportedly been pushed back to 2022. Meanwhile, Realme is gathering product certifications for the next-generation Realme 9 line.

A typical Realme number series includes two editions: a base model and a Pro model. However, with the ninth generation, Realme will aim for a higher price point with a new Pro+ model. The IMEI database listed the Realme 9 Pro+. You can find it by searching for the model number “RMX3393.”

Both Pro models are said to have much better hardware than the previous-generation Realme 8 series. To begin, the Realme 9 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

It’s a 5G mobile platform with an overclocked Snapdragon 865+ that comes with a flagship Realme mobile price tag. Although the Snapdragon 888 has replaced the Snapdragon 820 as Qualcomm’s flagship chip, it is still a high-performance chipset.

For the first time, the Realme 9 series introduces ultra-high refresh rates to the numeral family. The Realme 9 Pro and Pro+ are said to have SuperAMOLED screens that refresh at a silky smooth 120Hz. If the current trend continues, an O-hole may be punched through this panel to accommodate the front camera.
