Realme GT 2 Series Global Debut Set for January 4; Design Revealed via Press Images

The month of January will be hectic for smartphone manufacturers, as major mainstream brands prepare to unveil their respective flagship phones. Xiaomi has previously stated when the device will be available. Realme is hot on its heels, announcing the release date for its first flagship line, the Realme GT 2 series.

Realme’s social media platforms are currently hosting official teasers and invites. They also say that the Realme GT 2 series, which includes the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro, will be released on January 4th. At 4:30 p.m. Pakistan time, the two phones will be released in China and the rest of the world. If you want to see the world launch of Realme’s first true premium phones, the event will be televised live.

Local and international variations with varied internal specs are frequently released by BBK-owned brands. However, because they’re both releasing at the same time, we expect the global and Chinese editions to be identical.

On Twitter, leaked press photos of the Realme GT 2 series are circulating. Steve Hemmerstoffer had previously revealed a mockup for the Realme GT 2 Pro, which showed a phone that looked similar to the Google Nexus P.

However, considering the public photographs show a striking contrast, that renders appears to be an internal prototype. The genuine Realme GT 2 Pro features the Realme GT family’s signature design language. We’re looking at a chamfered enclosure with a haphazardly organized lens cluster inside the camera rectangle. According to some rumors, the Nexus P clone is actually a Realme GT 2 Pro branded the ‘Camera Edition.’

The gloss on the casing was influenced by paper textures. The ‘Designed by Realme’ trademark is stamped next to the cameras on the Realme GT 2 Pro in at least one cream color. This year, the firm is pulling out all the stops. Realme will charge a premium for the fully equipped Pro model.
