Samsung Galaxy A53 5G to Launch in Exynos and Snapdragon Variants

Despite Samsung’s aversion to naming the chipsets within its Galaxy phones, it’s a well-known fact that their flagship models come with two distinct CPUs depending on the area. The cheaper Galaxy A phones usually use a single chip that is used globally. But that could change soon, as the Samsung Galaxy A52s’ replacement is said to come in two chip configurations.

It’s worth noting that the chip duality isn’t tied to the two LTE and 5G variants like it usually are. Samsung, on the other hand, is completely abandoning the 4G option. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, on the other hand, is available in two versions: one with Qualcomm silicon and the other with Samsung’s own Exynos chipset.

The model numbers ‘SM-A436B’ and ‘SM-A536E’, which correspond to these Galaxy A53 5G models, were discovered by GalaxyClub. The first will hit Europe, while the second will hit South Asia (including Pakistan), Africa, and the Middle East. Unfortunately, GalaxyClub did not disclose which model is equipped with which chip.

The Snapdragon SoC from Qualcomm is also a mystery. However, the Exynos 1200 has been benchmarked on the Galaxy A53 in the United States. It’ll be a mid-range 4nm chip that’ll debut alongside the A53, according to reports.

Samsung had to relaunch the Galaxy A52 with the Snapdragon 778G this year due to a global chip scarcity (called the Galaxy A52s). As a result, the new structure could be a reaction to the earlier snafu.

In any case, Samsung’s two-chip Latest model isn’t the only thing it’s ripping out of its flagship playbook. The 3.5mm audio jack is being phased out starting with the Galaxy A53. Although the microSD card expansion is unknown, the removal of the headphone connection does not appear to be a good sign.
