Samsung Galaxy A03 Clears its Wi-Fi Certifications; Official Launch Could be in the Offing

The Korean phone manufacturer may soon release a new edition of the Samsung Galaxy A03 series. Official teasers have yet to appear. However, the A03 has been making headlines since August. The phone has already undergone benchmarking and certification. And the Galaxy A03 has just received yet another certification from Samsung.

The Wi-Fi Alliance database most recently included the Samsung Galaxy A03. You can find the listing by searching for “SM-A032F/DS.” According to the documentation, the A03 supports the single band old-generation 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi standard. In addition, the “DS” in the model name denotes dual SIM compatibility.

It does not include any other system specifications because it is a basic Wi-Fi certification. However, for those specifics, we can consult a slew of benchmarks and public reports. The Galaxy A03 will be less expensive than the A03s edition. The A03 uses an obscure Unisoc SC9863A chip instead of MediaTek silicon.
The new phone model 2021 from Samsung comes with at least 2GB of memory. Unless Samsung plans to downgrade the RAM from last year’s Galaxy A02, it may be limited to 3GB. The battery backup capacity is 5000 mAh. The Galaxy A03 lacks quick charging, as is typical for an entry-level Samsung phone. Android 11 Go, a trimmed version of the OS designed for low-cost phones, is installed on the device.
