Vivo T1 and T1x Go Official With 5G Chipsets, 120Hz Screens, and 44W Fast Charging

Vivo has just unveiled its brand new midrange T-series smartphone after a brief promotional campaign. This series includes the Vivo T1x and T1, both of which are now available in Vivo’s home market of China. Because it is a new lineup, it is too early to predict whether the phones will be available in the global market.

Except for the chipsets, the specifications of both editions are comparable. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor powers the Vivo T1. It’s a 5G platform with a 6nm process.

It comes with up to 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB of virtually extended memory from Vivo. The T1 is powered by the most recent OriginOS, which is based on Android11. The backup battery capacity is 5000 mAh, and it flash-charges at a rate of more than 44W. It claims to provide a 70 percent charge in just 38 minutes.

A trimmed, even bezel surrounds the display. It’s an IPS LCD with a 1080P resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, but only 650 nits of brightness. The front camera on the Vivo T1 is hidden behind an O-hole cutout. It can also render HDR10+ content. Finally, the camera system includes 64 MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and low-resolution sensors. The cutout camera has an 8MP resolution.

The Vivo T1x is powered by MediaTek silicon, specifically Density 900. The RAM, battery, and other internal specifications are shared by both models. The same can be said for the display, though it is smaller at 6.58″ in size.

The Vivo T1x, on the other hand, has a pared-down camera system. The 64MP lens is joined by a 2MP macro camera instead of the ultra-wide lens. Both phones have plastic bodies, fingerprint readers on the sides, and 3.5mm audio jacks.
