The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has received a few mentions in the media. However, until now, the upcoming A-series phone has been mostly shrouded in mystery. New high-quality product mockups of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G give us our first look at the sequel to one of the company’s best-sellers.
The 5K mockups were released in collaboration with the publication Digit by Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as @Onleaks. In addition, there’s a video tweet that takes you on a 360-degree tour of the Galaxy A53 5G. Samsung is playing it safe with the changes because its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A52, was the hottest Android phone of 2021.
The design changes are subtle and conservative. You’re greeted with a familiar casing and display layout right away. The Galaxy A52’s asymmetrical bezels, centred O-hole cutout, and soft, rounded chassis are all carried over.
The camera bump on the new Samsung Galaxy model, on the other hand, appears to be sculpted from the back panel. Instead of simply sitting on top of the shell, it blends into it — think of the Oppo X3 Pro. The Galaxy A53 has a thickness of 8.14mm (without counting the camera housing.) Samsung has also removed the 3.5mm audio jack that was present in the previous-generation A52. The feature has also begun to disappear in more affordable phones.
