Tecno Pova 5G Specs and Features Teased Before the Upcoming Launch

The Tecno Pova 5G is the company’s first 5G phone. It premiered in Africa and will be released in India soon. Pova 5G is also expected to launch in Pakistan soon, according to sources. In the interim, we may report on the specifications and features.

The MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip is featured prominently in the official teasers and promos for the Pova 5G. The Density 900, unlike the Tecno Camon 18 Premier’s 12nm Helio G96, is built on a 6nm node, making it more power-efficient.

It supports dual 5G SIM cards and Wi-Fi 6. Multitasking is also aided by 8GB of best-in-class LPDDR5 RAM. There’s also 128GB of ultra-fast UFS 3.1 storage included.

The hardware is powered by a massive 6000 mAh battery. The latest 5G variant from Tecno comes with 18W quick-charging support. Out of fifteen minutes of recharging, we’ll get three hours of gameplay. The Tecno Pova 5G is powered by Android 11 OS with HiOS UI. The Panther Game Engine, which is integrated into the UI, improves the gaming experience.

The display we’re looking at is a 6.95″ panel, which isn’t surprising. It’s a notched 1080P IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The 16MP front camera is integrated into the display. On the frame, we discover a thumbprint reader that also serves as a power button.

A camera rectangle contains three lenses and an LED flash. A reflective stripe runs the length of the case, which is textured. The Nova 5G is only available in one graphite finish. It’s expected to cost anything between Rs. 40,000 and 45,000 PKR.
