Following the success of Tecno’s Camon 19 series, the Chinese company has shifted its attention to the affordable market. To meet the goal, Tecno plans to launch the Spark 9T globally very soon. The device went on sale in Africa in June 2022, commencing in Nigeria. Now that the Spark 9T has been discovered on an Indian shop website, an Asian release seems certain.

A recent listing of the Tecno Spark 9T on an Indian e-commerce site suggests that it may make its debut in India before expanding to other south Asian nations. The website indicates that there are some discrepancies between the global and Nigerian versions. The seller’s photographs closely resemble those of the earlier Spark 8 pro.
The top of the rear piece is covered in a glossy protrusion, while the remaining area is covered by vertical stripes that flow down the back. The 50MP triple back camera setup of the Spark 9T is also supported by the rear casing.
Turning the new Tecno Spark smartphone over reveals its 6.6″ Full HD+ IPS panel, which has a dot drop notch for the front camera. The device has a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset and 4GB of virtual expandable RAM that can reach 7GB. The RAM expansion functionality, however, might be made available via an OTA update.

The 18W Flash charger that comes with the Spark 9T can relatively quickly recharge a 5,000 mAh power supply. The hardware is completed by a power key that also serves as a fingerprint scanner and volume rockers on the same edge.
There are still some missing parts to the Tecno Spark 9T puzzle, but the Indian model is said to cost less than $120, or PKR 29,000, while the Nigerian model, which has a better design and specification, costs about GN 78,300 (about Rs. 42,000). Which of these will travel to Pakistan, in the end, remains to be seen.
