Following the release of the Vivo Y21 in Pakistan, the company has just released a low-cost 5G phone in China, the latest in a series of releases this year. It’s a slim, lightweight phone with fast charging, upgraded OriginOS, and MediaTek silicon. The global release date has yet to be determined.
The Vivo Y76s is the first Vivo phone to use the Dimensity 810. It is a mid-tier 5G mobile platform based on a 6nm process node. The chip is linked to a 4100 mAh battery that is charged using 44W flash charge technology. You get 8GB of memory (virtually expanded by 4GB) and 128GB/256GB of storage. OriginOS 1.0 is a custom user interface that runs on top of Android.
The design is inspired by the flagship X70 series. The chamfered shell of the Vivo Y76s is available in Galaxy Blue, Starry Night Black, and Star Diamond White. The phone has a small footprint, measuring 7.79mm deep and weighing 175g.
The side power button on the latest Vivo 2021 smartphone doubles as a fingerprint sensor. A 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C interface are also included. The accented camera plate houses two lenses and an LED flash module. It has a 50MP wide and a 4cm macro lens.
