Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro Get Certified by FCC, NBTC, and SIRIM; The Duo to Debut Soon

Two new flagship products from Xiaomi are prepared for use. Recently, the company was seen applying for approval for two new smartphones, the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro. The pair is rumoured to debut within the coming month.

According to rumours, the Mi 12T and Mi 12T Pro are challenging current flagship models. A variety of certification platforms have reported recent sightings of the phone, and other reliable leaks have also surfaced. Here is a quick summary.

First discovered in the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) database were the Mi 12T and 12T Pro. The NBTC-Thailand organisation then approved the phone certificates. The pair just received approval from SIRIM (Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) for their safety regulation. The logical conclusion is that the device will soon arrive in the USA, Thailand, and Malaysia.

According to the records, the Mi 12T’s model code (22071212AG) and the Pro 12T’s code (22081212UG). The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC is paired with an 8GB memory capacity and 256GB of storage space in the basic Mi 12T, which also sports a 108MP photography lens, an FHD+ screen, and these specifications.

Price rumours for the Xiaomi smartphone are premature, but the Pro 12T, the premium model, will come equipped with top-tier hardware. According to reports, the phone’s internal chip is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen One. A flagship-level 12GB RAM, 256GB of storage, and out-of-the-box support for Android 12 and MIUI 13. To recharge its 5000mAh battery, Xiaomi offers 120W ultra-fast charging capabilities.

A 6.67-inch OLED screen is featured on the Mi 12T Pro. A screen-hidden fingerprint scanner and a 144Hz refresh rate are supported with the display. Additionally, the company equipped the Mi 12T Pro with a 200MP primary sensor, making it a true 2022 beast flagship device.
